The location was close to the beach as well as the stadium.

1. The fake person at the front desk! I will NEVER EVER stay again because of the on screen front desk person. This is the rudest, most impersonal greeting that I have ever received. When a guest comes to your house would you greet them with your vacuum? 2. I was surrounded by people who apparently live there and sit in the doorway with a chair smoking cigarettes and telling me that the waffles are great while at the same time yelling to another resident that they were making scrambled eggs and fruit salad in their room.

Great problem solving by the staff at 9.30pm. My room smelled very strongly of air freshener/cleaning chemicals. By 9.30pm I was sneezing and reacting to the smell, so I called to see if I could change rooms. The guy on desk duty was super helpful and I was able to switch to a room that smelled fine.

This motel is in general disrepair. This hotel had been abuse for years and not maintained.

The entire motel needs a face lift. It Doesn’t look like it’s been painted since it was built. There are areas where walls inside and out have received repair from minor damage but we’re not painted. The parking lot on the side of the motel needed washing.

This place was a mix of nice, updated, and crumbling and dirty. To start with, there was no live person at the front desk. There was a screen where a man appeared and checked me in from some faraway place. It was quite unsettling! Then, we were given a second-floor room and my 83-year old husband had to pull two suitcases up a filthy concrete outdoor staircase. I hated going up and down those steps, they were so nasty! When we got to the room, the door is partially rotten and the security latch would not latch. BUT, the room itself looked fairly good. The beds and bedding looked new and were comfortable and the nice, new floors looked great, but the other furnishings were chipped and the chairs were in bad shape. BUT, the bathroom had been renovated and looked like it came out of an entirely different room. It was clean and updated and the shower worked well. The dining room was small, but had been updated, and the staff lady was helpful. It looks like the people are trying to improve the motel, but the parts that are crumbling are presenting quite a challenge.
