The Hotel Bemidji

Staff were exceptional. Polite and accommodating despite being short staffed due to recent tornado damage in town.

I’m not sure why, but the carpet in our room felt damp. In fact the whole room felt damp. We were told that the building has been bought by another hotel chain and is in the middle of transition. Things need to be updated. There was no breakfast of any kind, but the bed was comfortable, and the shower was great.

The clerk that checked us in was very friendly and the rooms were clean and comfortable.

This property has alot of issues. They desperately need to update. There needs to be a facelift and they don't have enough employees on sta f f. A few. Examples-there was no clear information about room cleaning. I was told when asked that they don't clean rooms unless asked and. When. You leave. I requested my ro be cleaned at 8:30 am. I was told this would not be. A problem. The room. Was n ot cleaned. When asked if i ccould just get fresh linens later that evening i was told the laundry wasnt done and it took 2 hours before i got linens. I understand that this place willl be taken over by Marriott. I hope they can take better care of this place. Also the in room jacuzzi drain was broken. The jacuzzi in room is nice but needs tto be updated. Plus the ac vent is cery close to the bed.. it felt like the owners do not care about this place. Since they are selling it

This hotel is fine for a modest business in a small town. I would stay again if ever returning. Downsides compared to other hotel chains: 1. There is no continental breakfast. Makes sense for level of business. 2. Mattress was not comfortable. Felt a bit like laying on cardboard. Need to upgrade mattresses. 3. TV stations were low def 4:3 aspect ratio local programming only. Need cable channels and a guide. 4. One of the two lightbulbs was out in the bathroom. Housekeeping should have noticed and replaced.

Recommened to not go outside at night.

Cops at the apartments behind the hotel daily. Fence around the property so not terrible. No breakfast. Rooms were clean though. Price was pretty good for the proximity to Bemidji.

Very basic hotel. We were there for 3 nights. The first day and night there were lots of homeless people hanging out

The front desk personnel were very friendly and accomodating. Good value for the money. Met our needs well.

Nice place would stay here again.
