The location of the hotel is good, close to airport, freeway, shopping and restaurant, very good gym and swimming pool, room is clean, well maintained, then it went downhill from there:
- AC is super loud, even if I turned it off in room, AC in other rooms were as loud. Told front desk about this, they said will send someone to take a look, none were sent.
- Disappointing check in process/experience: I had 2 separate reservation for 2 consecutive nights, one with reward night, one regular reservation, upon 1st night check in, i asked to be checked in for both nights and was told I had to come to front desk to check out then check in next morning, when I did that, the agent (who is the exact same person who checked me in previous day) insisted on seeing my id again, without much acknowledgement for recognition of repeating stay, membership (i am life time platinum), this was very much different than previous experience with consecutive reservations, and/or returning trips, where I was acknowledged by name, waived the need to check id/credit card etc, make this one more like a shabby motel rather than a marriott.
- there is no lounge, and no comp breakfast, the food selection in the pantry was a joke, just cheerios and bagels.
- and no safe in hotel: not in room, nor in the hotel lobby, not very friendly for biz travelers
Well, this would be my first and last stay of staying in this hotel, avoid if you can.
