Casas de Incensos - TER -TA

The breakfast was served every morning at the time we specified, it was delicious with lots of variety. The view is spectacular and the property is beautiful. The cabins are perfect, lots of room, very comfortable bed and deck to enjoy.

Le petit déjeuner. En une semaine nous avons eu le même petit déjeuner tous les jours. Nous aurions aimé avoir plus de variété ; des fruits, yaourts frais, œufs,…

Ana hat sich trotz unserer nächtlichen Ankunft die Zeit genommen uns alles zu zeigen und uns zu instruieren.

Cool houses. Ana very friendly and helpful. Comfortable beds. Like the cats too.

Lack of AC. Also coffee at breakfast was not hot, 2 mornings in a row. Also a something you should know. We had an unfortunate conversation with your gardener in which he expressed some very racist views. The conversation really upset us. I would suggest that he not talk to the guests in the future, or at least be careful with his words.

Magnifieke ligging. Zeer comfortabele huisjes. Aangenaam onthaal.

I stayed three nights at Casas de Incensos and it was simply incredible. After days full of outdoor activities — hiking, climbing mountains and even Pico itself — I wanted a peaceful place to rest, and I couldn’t have made a better choice. From the moment we arrived, Ana welcomed us with outstanding attention: she explained the entire history of the houses and the former village that has now been transformed into this authentic accommodation. The place is impeccably preserved, maintaining the original architecture, which gives a real sense of authenticity and connection to the history of the site. Breakfast was another highlight, with excellent local and regional products — cheeses, breads, and other flavors from the island. The pool, with spectacular views of Pico and the sunset, made our moments of rest even more special. The atmosphere is uniquely calm: silence, peace, and absolute comfort. The houses are very well maintained, super clean, and invite you to relax. The service was 10/10, with warmth and dedication that made us feel completely at ease. It was a memorable stay, full of authenticity and hospitality. I highly recommend it and hope to return one day.
