Casas de Incensos - TER -TA

We were able to spend three nights here on our honeymoon and we felt like we were in paradise. Never before have we been so lovingly welcomed. Ana took a lot of time to show us around our historic and incredibly beautifully furnished house. Not only roses and sparkling wine awaited us there, but also a cake she had baked herself for my birthday. We could have cried at the latest when she showed us the grounds with the incredible view of the sea in the secluded nature, it was so beautiful. The lovely team, who served us a particularly delicious breakfast, Ana's tips for the surrounding area, which she drew on a map, bats drinking by the pool, 4 cheese-loving cats and even whales and dolphins in the distance, which we were able to observe with the binoculars provided, made everything so perfect. Thank you for a time here we will never forget.

This was a small piece of paradise.

This is a very special property with only 5 charming restored stone cottages. Anna, our host takes great pride in the property and was eager to please. She had wonderful tips about the island including where to go and how to get there (beware the secondary roads in the fog).

Loved everything about it.

The Casas de Incensos were like an island in the middle of the ocean. Ana was an exceptional host that made our stay authentic and personal. The thoughtfulness in the architecture of the buildings as well as the history, the amenities and the great staff made the stay feel personal and welcoming. Every day we looked forward to coming back. The breakfast with the few was great and we loved all the personal touches!

The road was a bit bumpy but fine to manage if you don’t have a problem with steep roads.

This place is exceptional - it's natural beauty, tranquility and comfort of the rooms was amazing. The staff was so kind and welcoming, I felt like I was staying with family - but it's incredibly private at the same time. The space is a great combination of modern and historical. Each casa has its own amazing view of the ocean, and the cozy common dining room, outdoor patio, and pool area are welcoming. Ana, the GM greets you on arrival and gives you a great overview of the area. We were nervous about the road down, but she offered to help us at any time and was very gracious and very responsive - we could text her at any time for help. We loved the breakfast served each day and her kind staff was accommodating when we had to leave early, and they were there for us. Even the landscaper we ran into was saying how lucky he was to work there! I wish we could have stayed longer. My husband was obsessed with the cats who live in property!

The road to the house is very steep and windy and you need to be a confident driver - definitely do not take a manual car down the road if you are inexperienced as there are some corners where it would be difficult to back up with incoming drivers. It was the only downside to the entire place - not enough to not make me recommend it, but just be ready!

Ana - the host - had the best recommendation and shared fun and interesting insights of the island life with us. The property is beautiful and the houses lovely. The breakfast was very good and we miss the lovely cats of the property already.
