Quality Inn Mill Hall - Lamar

The staff was wonderful. Friendly and professional. They did their best to accommodate us. The mouse droppings in the ice bucket and the bedbug bites on my stomach, on the other hand, were not something they could really help with. The people were sweet but the building is scary. You would probably be happier choosing differently.

The room we received the bathroom was filthy, with dirty towels and hair everywhere. The fridge and phone didn't work. I was happy that when I brought this up with staff they corrected it by giving us a different room.

Our stay was not that great. We were put in a room that was clise to two doors that had broken hinges! All night long both doors were slamming. People were screaming and yelling in the hallway at 2am. We had to use our free late check out, that we NEVER use. The staff was very kind.

The automatic front door wasn’t very patient with me, so right away— after noticing the decrepit parking lot— I had the experience of being tired and carrying too much and having the door shut in my face. The receptionist was gracious though. Although I did wish that there was a cart around (I did see a few later way down the hall), that came back, I’m sure she would’ve offered if I’d ask, but I didn’t think of it.

Room did not appear clean, phone in room did not work, asked question at front desk and received attitude. No pool! Poor breakfast options. Location was convenient for our event but would not stay again.
