NLThe drive there was epic (when you have a 4x4), the arrival was magic (from the terras we saw a whale hunting fish), the view from the hottub was breathtaking (and you can hear the silence).

USUSThe property is very cozy and has an amazing hot tub that is already prefilled with clean, hot water. The drive down and view from the property is breathtaking. The host is exceptionally friendly and helpful. We deflated a tire on the way to the property but didn't know how to change a tire and did not have data to search up how. We called the host and she graciously sent over a friend to help us change the tire. The road to the guesthouse is a fairly average gravel road in Iceland, but there are some sharp rocks.
The property was pretty cold.
This property has worst access with 30 KM of dirt road and winding mountain roads from top of the mountain to the base. Expedia should EXRESSILY state that so people with small kids don't take this property.

If one is seeking a peaceful experience with spectacular views that language cannot encapsulate, this holiday home is worth the gravel road journey pass dozens of waterfalls. Bring your food stuff; grill or use the kitchen.
It was one of our best cottage stay in iceland. On the picture at the booking there was no hot tub mentioned. What a surprise when we saw this new hot tub facing the fjords at our check in. The fjords view is magical. Everything was absolutely perfect. Everything. We will come back for sure.
