The Green Room Seminyak

Really boujis surf hostel with lovely hotel rooms too. Booked a deluxe room for me and a suite for my friend. Both gorgeously designed and really great value for money. Lovely pool and relaxing areas. Walking distance to the beach and lots of restaurants.

My friend’s suite came with two small sofas and two sunloungers that were supposedly private and reserved for him - however this wasn’t very clear to other guests and we’d regularly find them lounging on them, right next to his window, which was a bit frustrating.

Really nice hotel with two pools and lovely rooms., breakfast was good too. Probably best to visit this hotel when you plan on surfing.

We didn’t have real AC in our room, just fans.

Absolutely wonderful place. However, it should be made very clear what is not included absolutely anywhere in the description - the hotel is designed for people attending a serf camp. Camp participants make up 99% of the guests. The place is nevertheless very peaceful, quiet. You can participate in events designed for the camp, which is great (excursions, parties, movie nights, volleyball on the beach, etc.). The food is very tasty. In fact, it's delicious. You can walk to the beach in 7 minutes. To the main shopping street in 15minutes. The hotel is tucked away down the street, making it cozy and quiet. The two swimming pools are spacious and deep. The space of the whole place is magically designed. One can really relax.

The air conditioning in my room was very loud. However, I saw modern and quiet units in other rooms, so I believe it is a matter of time when they will replace the old units with new ones.

The facilities were great. There were 2 pools, a great and affordable kitchen with a variety of delicious food options. The staff and people who were staying were very approachable and laid back. Lots of common areas for lounging and relaxing or socialising depending on the purpose of your trip. The rooms were clean and good size and also had a safe to store valuables. Just a short walk from the beach and main areas of Seminyak.

Wasn’t an issue for us but the pools and common areas are used for short periods for the surf camp activities (just something to be aware of).
