Good communication, clean, comfy, near downtown.

Everything is good.

We are traveling around Mexico and this was by far our favorite place we’ve stayed so far! We were so well looked after, amazing value for money, the loveliest and super helpful staff who went above and beyond. Also quite a homely place with coffee and water supplied!

Nothing- it was great!

The owners/staff were exceptional. After a very long day and night of travel, they provided me with a bed hours before checking time while they prepared my room. They cleaned the common spaces every day, recommended some good local restaurants and addressed the one problem I encountered immediately. I visit Oaxaca frequently and I will definitely return to Casa Gecko.

There is absolutely nothing to complain about.

Dania was the best, she maid my stay in Oaxaca really easy and fun. The place is nice and clean. Recommended and I will stay again if I come back.

It’s a little bit far from the center.

The people are so nice and the place is very authentic. Very cute!

The bathroom is very small with a shower almost above the toilet and the location is a long walk from the center.

The Host and her father were very good people and helped in anyway with a cheerful demeanor.

I can't think of anything.

Maybe if you travel as a group is better, as they block some areas and rent them as little apartment.

We had a room with a balcony to the street, it was loud but actually that is ok. What made the stay disappointing was that you could notice that the bathroom wasn't clean. The room had only a mini ventilator beside the bed that was too much to have besid our heads but too little to actually help to refresh the room. The heat was extreme, it would be better with air conditioner of a good ventilator. Some indirect lighting for the night would be perfect aswell. And please do an intense cleaning to those bathrooms.
