Hyatt Place Tucson Central

Rooms were ok. Definitely needs a remodel and update. I was barely greeted by the staff and I don’t think they really listened to my responses to the questions they asked me. Not what I normally get with a Hyatt branded property unfortunately.

The breakfast setup is great with a great variety of choices. This was the best contintental breakfast for our trip. The room was great and the bed was very comfortable.

Nothing they can change but their location is close to the freeway and busy neighborhood.

There were no slippers available in the room, even though we were willing to pay for them.

Staff was friendly , breakfast was good. Only issue was the mattress . Seemed pretty used up and uncomfortable. Hope they upgrade

Location next to a crack infested hotel. Also located next to freeway and train

Very pleasantly surprised. Hadn't been to Tuscon and made the reservation at the last minute -- without much knowledge of the area. when I first approached the area, it looked a bit "aged" with a lot of road construction going on (older section of Grant ave -- a bit rundown). So I was a bit worried -- fortunately, unnecessarily. It's a super location to access the main tourist attractions like the Desert Museum. Very modern. And the staff was just excellent. The breakfast was definitely better than average.
