Hyatt Place Tucson Central

The property is located near a freeway overpass which makes travel convenient but there are homeless in the area around the hotel. There is also some noise from the freeway - earplugs are an easy fix. The hotel is clean, breakfast each day was great, the homemade cookies are not to be missed! The staff at this location are exceptional from front desk to housekeeping to the guy making breakfast!

When I made this reservation, I looked at location in proximity to Interstate 10, which was good, dining options nearby, which was okay. What I didn't expect was that I didn't feel safe here because of all the homeless people in the area. There is a rundown motel next door, and the hotel knows there is a security problem because they have a onsite security guard at night. The room we had was a very basic room, not what I expected for the price that I paid.

The hotel and staff was great it was also clean and convenient right off the freeway. The only thing the area didnt feel to safe.

Loved the breakfast! There were many options and all of them were delicious. The staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms are clean and quiet. We had a very nice stay, thank you!

Facility was right next to the interstate and what looked to be a condemned competing hotel. Sewer smell throughout.

The hotel itself was nice and the staff I give a A but around the area was just a lot of homeless.

I caution you not to stay here. I have never looked at Hyatt reviews because they have always been great. As a Hyatt member, we were appalled at this hotel with the Hyatt name on it. The front desk man, Jesse was rude. When my husband said, let's shake hands and start over more pleasantly, he refused to shake his hand. He then gave us a room he knew was not fit. The room we were given only had boiling hot water, no cold water at any faucet. Extremely dangerous. He later admitted he knew the room was defective and happily told us that. Homeless, drug addicts surround the building. Had them at the swimming pool when we tried to go there. Checked in on Saturday. On Monday, asked if someone cleans the pool. Told it happens every other day. The pool area had trash for days, never took leaves out of pool or pidgin poop off pool deck. I will say that the room was clean, and the breakfast was fine. I have stayed in Hyatt's around America and have NEVER had a more unpleasant experience at a Hyatt.

The property is ok for the price , breakfast was great. but the room was dusty and the shower was dirty the glass shower door dirty the vanity sink was all dusty too.
