The view was amazing

There were big patches of black mould in the upper bedroom 1 foot from where your head lays on the bed. Upper toilet unusable with no toilet seat. There was soo much stinky perfume product in the house that we had to air it out the whole time we were there- do not book if you don’t like artificial fragrances. Owner showed up at the door three minutes before checkout time and rudely told us to get out. I tried to tell her about the mould, she pretended not to speak english so I used the translator app- then in English she told us it’s because we had the house closed and the air conditioner on and we caused the mould. An Absolutely insane take as the mould was there on arrival, we didn’t use the aircon at all and we had all windows and doors open the whole stay because it smelt so disgusting in there. She was a total rude hag and she’s awful at running a business. I do not recommend this place ! Also very ugly interior with casa Gilda written on everything, quite tacky. The place has great bones and is in a great location- if it was run by someone kind with a bit of style taste it would be great! She also insisted we take all the rubbish out and put on the bins on the street. There are no bins on the street, we found one like 500 m away that was full. People pile up rubbish all around them so I don’t know what she expects from visitors. 2/10

Location was sensational in Marina Grande. Easy walking back into Sorrento or take the bus which pulls into the bay every hour.

The low roof line above the bed as a bit of a hazard. We both bumped our heads on the ceiling several times during our stay.

The location was absolutely beautiful.

Great location. 10 minutes walk to main town. Clean and tidy. Wonderful views!!! Very spacious apartment. Early check in provided at 12pm

We had a flood in the upstairs room due to poor maintenance of the property after a thunderstorm. A blocked drain that had not been cleaned for some time caused this. Clear signs of water damage and a musty damp smell indicated this is a long standing problem that has not been addressed. We spent 1:5 hours cleaning up. Contacted booking.com-no response. Contacted owner-when they did respond-no apology-no thanks for unblocking the drain, mopping up and washing the mop up towels. Owner has very poor response to any requests once in the property-it’s take your money then nothing. They offered to come over AFTER we were 50% thru the clean up in 20 mins and after I’d already started the laundry!! No response since. Upstairs room is awful with a ridiculous low ceiling you will keep smashing your head on the low roof! Awful. Very painful on our backs! Don’t stay here if you have mobility issues or back issues.

The location and the style of the property were amazing. The rooftop balcony was stunning.

The air con unit was faulty and extremely noisy making a chugging sound every 15-20 minutes through the day but worse still all through the night. The sofa bed was uncomfortable and the slats kept falling out.

Location!!!!

Bed was a little too had for our likening but, some people enjoy that. It was uncomfortable though.
