"Wonderful location/view but air conditioner makes loud noises all night long."

The owner let us leave our bags at the apartment early so we wouldn't have to drag them around with us until check-in time. We absolutely loved the location of the apartment in/the balcony with its view of the Marina Grande. We were able to witness an amazing sunset from the balcony. The decor is charming. There was a glass pedestal cake stand containing numerous wrapped goodies, including little cakes, tarts, croissants, and biscuits. There was a large bottle of water in the refrigerator for us.

The bathrooms were a bit cramped and the downstairs one can use a bit of an update. The sofa bed mattress is too thin and if 2 people sleep on it, every time you move, the whole bed shakes. The air conditioning unit made loud noises (like mini jackhammer) every couple of minutes all night long, making it very difficult to fall asleep and stay asleep. Noises from people passing by apartment generally stopped by midnight on the 3 nights we stayed there. Casa Gilda had the most expensive per-person tax (9 euro) out of all the apartments we rented during our vacation.

N8ce accommodations. Extremely clean. Host left a bottle of wine and some treats. Very nice touch. Beautiful view of the marina, and many restaurants right there.

Directions to the location..a bit confusing. Also a very steep hill..be prepared.

lots of extra touches. very clean. smelled beautiful. beds super comfy. great location. bright and cheerful. well appointed.

nothing serious at all. constructive criticism, showers were tiny. toilet didn’t flush well upstairs. soap would be a nice touch in the showers.

Perfect location for a family stay in Sorrento. Marina Grande is close enough to town but far away enough so you feel you are staying in an Italian port away from the crowds.

Upstairs room a loft so be careful not to bang your head! Steep slope to get to the property, not ideal for older guests. Would benefit so much from a daily cleaning service
