Red Jacket Beach Resort

We had a pleasant quiet stay with a lovely view of Parker River. I would have appreciated a complimentary continental breakfast or a coffee bar. 😊

The hotel staff were excellent and attentive and the location is amazing - just steps from the ocean.

Place is gross, bed dirty, floors covered in dirt and sand.

Mooie grote kamer. Recht aan het strand met strandstoelen. Mooi zwembad buiten

Het zwembad binnen is ok maar de omgeving en vloerbedekking er rond is wat verouderd en triest. Ook de fitness boven. Zowel de bar als het restaurant is heel donker en ongezellig. Personeel loopt er ook wat verloren. Ontbijt werd opgediend door een jongen met een regenjas aan. Muziek stond heel luid en in de bar een ander muziekgenre waardoor je de twee door elkaar hoorde en het echt geen rustig ontbijt was. Ontbijten deden we dan ook liever buitenaf.

Beware of room 109. We stay at the Riviera Beach Resort, part of the Red Jacket Resorts. We stayed 3 nights. The first night the smoke detector went off at 2am and again at 4am. I assumed it was the whole hotel until I spoke with the rest of my family. I chalked it us as a freak thing until it went off again in the evening around 9pm. I called the front desk as I couldn't be up again all night. They said they would send maintenance over. Very nice guy. He returned with a new battery and said he was leaving soon. He said security could help me if we had another issue. Of course it went off again at 4am, I was too exhausted to call. It wasn't a relaxing vacation because of the loud and piercing alarm for multiple nights. The alarm was so startling to wake up to. I received a review from them after our stay and explained the issues we had. I also wrote them an email for a refund. I have yet to hear back from them. Very disappointed. We have stayed here before and at many of their other properties. We have enjoyed ourselves in the past and location is great but very disappointed for their lack of customer service. I called for a late checkout, the front desk reception women couldn't have cared less. She let us stay an extra half hour. Woohoo:(

Paper thin walls. Called a resort but mildly above a decent motel. 1 ply toilet paper. Technically clean but dirty looking bathroom.

This is a beautiful and relaxing place in September. Beach, pool, restaurant and attentive personnel.
