DEDas Hotel war gleich in der Nähe der Busstation und der Fähre somit für mich eine tolle Lage. Die Ausrichtung des Zimmers war straßenseitig und daher nicht vollkommen ruhig, aber das war mir bekannt, daher ok. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und aufmerksam, es gab sogar kleine kulinarische Köstlichkeiten auf das Zimmer als Gastgeschenk. Ein Portier am Eingang/Aufzug begrüßte einen immer mit einem Lächeln und alle waren immer sehr freundlich, egal welches Anliegen ich hatte. Besonders toll fand ich beim Frühstück, dass May immer an mich gedacht hat und mir meinen täglichen Salat schon vorbereitet und zur Seite gestellt! :-) Beim Neujahrsfest hat man auch darauf geachtet, dass jeder Gast einen guten Platz und gute Sicht auf den Liondance hat. Ich habe mich rundum wohl gefühlt. Der Pool war zwar nicht groß, aber auch für ein paar Schwimmrunden war er ausreichend und hatte eine Whirlpoolfunktion. Jederzeit würde ich wieder buchen, wenn ich mich in Georgtown aufhalte.
Der Haupteingang ist direkt an der Straße, das war etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, allerdings wenn man mit dem Auto kommt, nicht verkehrt.

DESuper Lage und toller Ausblick aufs Meer. Netter, aber recht kleiner Pool, super freundliches Personal und kostenlose Parkmöglichkeit für Roller.
Es hätte stellenweise etwas sauberer sein können, am Wochenende zur Straße extrem laut wegen „Mat Rempit“ bis spät in die Nacht.
USPerfect for a solo traveler. I stayed two nights and couldn't be happier with my experience. The staff were so friendly, one even offered to loan me money when I said I hadn't gotten the chance to exchange money and the banks were closed. They were also very helpful with planning activities and all the major historic sights of penang are within walking distance. The rooms were also really clean and comfortable, and all the tap water was filtered (which was a really nice touch).
