Eastside Guesthouse and Bivy

Very nice grounds. Little stream running next to the parking area. Lots of flowers. A nice clean room and very friendly staff.

Location near bakery clean friendly great common room

The guesthouse was laid out like a little community, with common areas for relaxing in spaces you'd see in "outdoor living" magazines. The lounging/dining room was inviting, efficiently laid out, and clean. The communal deck with fire pit and propane barbeques for guest use seemed more spacious because there was a little pond that connected with the natural creek that flows past the property, and around the pond were trees that screened even more open space -- an RV park -- behind the property. The bunks were comfortable and the bedding was just right. Goods from the Owens Valley's premier bakery (next door) made morning coffee in the dining area even more enjoyable.

Lovely guesthouse with friendly and helpful staff. Good options locally for food. Small cabin room near the pond which was all we needed. Communal area was a lively big space with good facilities. Lovely gardens to sit in. Nice and clean and reasonable shower

It is a great property.

Nice place and fun area. They tried to put my bride and myself ( seniors) in a " Bunck house ". I had surgery on my back and couldn't lean over enough to get into bed. Becky was super helpful however, to switch to a different room, with a normal bed, cost us more because Memorial day was coming up ( a week away,) and they needed to charge more.....In advance. They obviously don't have a real desire to have repeat business. ( This was our second stay with them in 6 weeks). I get it, big tourist season. We were already there, with a reservation, arrived at 9:30 pm. Oh well, the mighty dollar ruled the day. Room was clean and the bed acceptable. The " blendor" needs to be replaced, the shower temperature is not stable.
