Eastside Guesthouse and Bivy

The grounds are very well maintained. Check in was easy. The room was comfortable and quiet. I highly recommend!

Property was clean as well as our single queen room. Communication from property for keyless entry was great. We would stay again when driving through Bishop.

What wasn’t unique about the property? One of a kind. Nice outdoor seating. Community kitchen. Rooms were simple and comfortable. Great coffee available on site in an Airstream Trailer. Super friendly people on site and locally!! Highly recommend. Pricing is reasonable!

I'm not sure if I was aware of a breakfast, but my mother got sick and we didn't feel like eating.

I've stayed here multiple times and will not come back. This last visit the hvac in my room was broken and would only cycle onto heat, leaving the room unbearably hot. After calling the property in the middle of the night they're staff came out and tried their best to troubleshoot but confirmed the unit was defective, they were very friendly and said they would love to give me a partial refund for my troubles but since I booked through Expedia I would have to go through them. In the end after multiple inquiries I received no refund and was left completely outraged! Long story short, this place is fine until you need help for something customer service-related. It's a shame, trust is everything in a business these days and this place doesn't have it. I'll tell my extended family who regularly passes through Bishop to stay elsewhere.

It's a great, comfortable place to stay in Bishop. We stayed here before and after a bikepacking trip. I liked how our room was very private and home-like, but there is also a nice common space for people who want to interact with fellow travelers.

Interesting property. It is called a “guest house”. Each room has beds and bathroom. Property is beautifully manicured and has a lovely outdoor space. They have a common space with a kitchen, tables and chairs and sofas. No tv’s in room but did not miss that. It was a pleasant discovery and I will be back.
