Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Gunnison

Staff is helpful. Laundry machine was broken, but staff helped me d o laundry in the hotel machines for same fees. Also juice bar and coffee/tea bar is open all the time, not just breakfast time.

Stayed 1 night.  Reception and breakfast area small only 3 tables.  Reception staff polite had to wait for room, rather than checking if one was available. Free parking and ok WiFi. Free  continental breakfast. From 630am available at 645-10am with selection, sausage, eggs, pancake bagels, toast, yogart, cereal, juice and coffee. No fruit or muffins Room  was clean but smelt of spices Equipped with fridge and microwave. 1 chair, Coffee maker. TV. Clean and 2 comfortable large double bed.  Bathroom is ensuite and clean with toiletries. On edge of town and restaurants shops. Probably will not stay again.

We actually didn't stay. There were bedbugs and stains all over the beds. We got a refund and cancelled our reservation and left.

The room was clean, however, there was an odor when you first walk into the hotel. There’s a stuffed chair in the lobby that needs to be replaced, it’s filthy and it smells. I couldn’t even sit in it, I had to take a chair off one of the tables to sit and read. No other sitting area. The breakfast pancakes were like rubber, as were the eggs. And the eggs were round like the pancakes, not scrambled eggs. Not sure what they were made of. The area around the hotel was like a parking place for maintenance workers, like an industrial area. Wouldn’t stay there again…

Front desk guy was pretty friendly and helpful with clocking in my loyalty points. Housekeeping staff showed care. Thank you.

Hotel is extremely run down. Pictures don’t give a true reflection of the property. The carpet was torn up in the room and the window latches were broke so the window would not lock. I immediately went to tell them I wasn’t going to stay at the hotel and wanted to cancel my reservation. They made me pay one night, because it was past the time.

There was a metal piece of the bed frame sticking out from under the bed that cut my child. The water when showering was ice cold. It took a long time to be helped by staff to be checked in and out. The staff were not helpful and acted inconvenienced when having to help customers. The vending machine was completely empty. Trash cans were overflowing. There were holes in the carpets in the room and in the hallways. There is no elevator so everything has to be carried upstairs to the rooms.

Clean

The bathroom had black mold on the ceiling,the bathroom toilet was dirty, the bed sheets where still wet on my bed from the laundry. There was no other availability in that small town.. not recommended
