I just returned from celebrating my 50th in Palm Springs. This hotel definitely needs some updating and refreshing. However my room was clean and huge. The hotel staff are amazing! From Randy at the front desk to Nico and Hugo at El Jefe, we had a blast! Even now with some follow up help on my bill - the front desk is kind and courteous. The pool was tons of fun and we met some interesting people. Did I mention how good the food and drinks were? We were in between Stagecoach and Coachella weekends, so the hotel was quiet and the pool pretty empty. A great time was had by all!

I love the decoration and the decor. I do like that stairwells and access to the elevators requires a room key, so i felt safe knowing a random non-guest wouldn’t have access to reach my room. The staff are incredibly nice and welcoming. The location is also great for taking the Coachella shuttle bus to and from the festival.

Parts of the hotel need a refresh in its appearance. New carpets, a refresh on the floor coatings outside of the hotel rooms, and better functioning bathroom fans would be nice. Also if there’s a way housekeeping carts have quieter wheels, that’d be cool. It sounded like a rollercoaster was slowly rolling on by our hotel room during our stay. It’s not a dealbreaker by any means, it would just be an improvement. Lastly, stronger water pressure in the shower would be HUGE or at least control of the water pressure would be greatly appreciated. Currently, the water pressure in the room we stayed in is a bit weak. I would love deep-tissue massage level water pressure in a shower. Again, this is personal preference.
