Great property with Amazing views. The staff was very good. We borrowed bikes from the Hotel, which saved us from renting them from a local shop. Family friendly. The Gym was well equipped and there are free filtered water machines all over the property.

"Breathtaking Views and Upscale Comfort at Laguna Cliffs Marriott"

The Laguna Cliffs Marriott Resort & Spa is absolutely beautiful—truly a stunning place to stay. It reminded me of an updated version of the Hotel del Coronado, but in many ways, I found it even nicer. While the Del holds a special place in history, this Marriott feels fresh, luxurious, and serene. The rooms were amazing—clean, stylish, and very comfortable. The view from the resort is simply breathtaking, especially overlooking the ocean and surrounding cliffs. It’s the kind of place that makes you instantly feel relaxed. The resort is located right next to the famous Doheny Beach, which adds to its charm. While there isn’t much within walking distance, the surrounding area is lovely, and it's just a short drive to plenty of great restaurants and local spots. We didn’t dine at the hotel’s restaurant this time because there were so many options nearby, but everything else about the resort was exceptional. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the overall vibe was calm, upscale, and inviting. Whether you're looking to unwind or explore, this hotel offers a perfect mix of both. I absolutely loved my stay here and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a luxurious escape on the Southern California coast.

What a beautiful property! There are great views from their bar. The drinks are a little pricey but the resort perks gets you some free things and the Marriott Bonvoy membership gets you a free glass of beer or wine. They need to add a "house cocktail" to this free offering since not everyone likes beer and wine. As a Marriott member and because it wasn't the crowded summer season yet, we were upgraded to a room with a view. Maggy in Concierge was great. You can walk through the park, if you are lucky you will see bunnies in the grass and hear the seals down at the harbor. When you walk down the stairs there is a small outdoor mall with a couple of restaurants and a great place for breakfast - What a Dish Cafe!

Loved the location and the area. Dining is not that great. No gluten free items at all, servers don’t know anything about allergies, and you have to pay extra for coffee.
