This is a grand old property (at least old in terms of Southern California) with majestic views of the Dana Point Harbor. Our room was well outfitted and offered a small balcony with a view to the south (including modest ocean views). We took advantage of both of the pools and I took a long walk to the beach to the south and the restaurants around the Dana Point Harbor. We live in the area, so this was a staycation, but I have to image people visiting Southern California would also appreciate the majesty of the property (which is rare in this area).

Room was small and not what we were promised. Location beautiful! No breakfast, but dinner great!

Too expensive, room was tiny and they called it a small view-you would have to stand on your toes to see it (small window, very high). The parking, never mentioned, was exorbitant! Fortunately they did return the "resort fee" as we were visiting friends and did not use any-not even pool or fitness. Overall, just okay. However, Excellent staff, service was great!
