Location, house keeping and friendly

Coffee was not to my liking

We have been using this motel for over 30 years. The location and the pool are our main reasons.

Had trouble checking in, room was in my husband's name (he was with me.) They made him use a different credit card, I had to have the charges put on our card we use for travel. No hot water Wednesday or all day Thursday. Finally able to shower Thursday night. Bug in the bathroom. No Kleenex, said they were out, gave us paper towels.

Location to airport good but definitely needs remodeled. Television needed a channel guide. Wallpaper and paint peeling in hallway.

My friend and I had driven 10 hours from Little Rock and were delighted with our choice of La Quinta. The price was excellent, the bed comfortable, the room clean and we had a view of their very pretty pool. There was a little refrigerator, microwave, and a great ice machine down the hall. Breakfast the next morning was all we needed, with scrambled eggs, sausage, muffins, biscuits, etc. I noticed pets staying there so it is pet friendly. Great stay for a good price.

It is so dated and run down. Lobby is clean and kept but not rest of place. Receptionist would rather help people on phone then first finish with the customers standing in the actual lobby first. Found it rude of her to stop processing us and help phone first. Not the first time it has happened. Also sheets were really worn out.

Hotel was dirty and did not smell good. The room ac didn't work well and they didn't clean it even though I was there 3 nights. Seemed under staffed . Breakfast was minimal and mediocre.

I stayed here as a half way point on a road trip with my dog. The pet fee was only $25 which is not bad. However, the room had noticeable pet damage from previous guests as well as an unpleasant odor. Additionally, the bathroom only had half a roll of toilet paper that was open, there was no backup roll. The pet station with dog clean up bags was over flowing and seemed to have not been emptied in a long time. I had a virtual appointment the morning of checkout (checkout is 11am and my appointment was 9am). I placed the do not disturb door hanger outside for my appointment and yet at 9:15 there was banging on my door from housekeeping. This is not acceptable considering I had the door placard on the handle and it was before I had checked out. About the front desk service, I called to make my reservation and was quoted one price (90/night) but charged another (99/night) when I checked in. My card was charged before I signed the receipt where the increased room amount was written in small print. It was also not explained to me what I was signing. It was suggested that it was related to the pet fee. While it was only $9, the lack of transparency of prices will cause me to hesitate using Wyndham again. Lastly, while trying to figure out the increased charge I asked for my receipt multiple times and was refused until I made a formal customer complaint. In the same breath, I repeatedly tried to add my rewards number to my booking which was also refused. Everything regarding the staff was shady and left a bad taste in my mouth.
