Quality Inn Fort Wayne

The breakfast was terrible. Packaged muffins, sausages and a waffle maker in a separate location from the other 2 things.

The room was very dirty. We just checked in and ran out to go some places and it was late when we got back or I would have asked for a different room.

The bathroom was dirty and the carpets were very old and dirty..apparently the property is undergoing construction. The only thing upgraded in our room was the lock. Hopefully that was the first thing to be upgraded and they weren’t done with the rooms.

The hotel is clearly under construction the overall hotel leaves a lot to be desired. Outdated and dirty, breakfast was lacking we had to go out each morning because the options were so poor. They upgraded to door codes instead of key cards and they never worked had to get assistance multiple times because the key pad didn’t work properly. Room temperature is the old school units that either blast hot or cold air not in between. Everything about this Hotel is old and outdated there are better options in the area for the price.

The staff was friendly but the room was less than desirable. The sheets were definitely not changed as we found “body” hair and flakes of skin on one bed, while the other had grease from someone’s hair/head on the headboard. Overall I feel like corners were skipped in the cleaning process with the little rooms they seemed to have readily available due to construction. Pillows were nice, blankets were good quality, bathroom seemed to need it’s corners/tight spots more thoroughly cleaned, the caulking was becoming very spotty with what looked like potential mold.

Doing property upgrades so it was a little dusty. Only challenge was we had to reprogram door key a couple times
