Budget Inn - Ft Myers

Under renovation so materials were all over the property. The bathroom was dirty with hair on tub and sink. This was a last minute find because we needed a place to stay and it cost over $170 a night. I don’t recommend staying here.

Basic but very clean and well maintained

It was very comfortable & walking distance to all the shops.

Good place to stay. We like this area of Ft Myers..Good Job.

Very clean everywhere inside our room. Even though it was obviously an older property, the owners had made it attractive as much as possible with plants and flowers. No trash anywhere. I liked the Neutrogena products also.

Moldy smell. Missing smoke detector. Bed pushed against the wall with no headboard. Burn holes in curtain in a non smoking room. Holes in walls.

Unfortunately or maybe fortunately, I didn’t get to stay here. I called the hotel to confirm The room accommodations I booked which was a room with 2 king beds and a full kitchen, and was told “we do not have such rooms”. Hmm. I called Expedia customers service, who have been very helpful with booking adjustments in the past. I was told they couldn’t help and that I would have to deal with the property directly to cancel or change anything. I called the hotel back and they SAID they would cancel it with no charge. I hope so. We’ll see what happens. Wish Expedia could have been more helpful. I couldn’t say enough positive about them until this snafu.

No room available after driving way out of the way to find a room. There better be no charge for this!!!
