Econo Lodge Lafayette near University

Over hotel is in very poor condition. Everything is outdated. Parts of the room were dirty and parts were clean.

It’s a rundown, worn off hotel with peeling or scratched paint, ancient yellow shower curtains half hanging off the rod, bathtub rusted around the edges, bathroom door not fitting in the frame. Not staying again ever. Better start driving home even if takes hours.

Property/ room overall condition is below average. Price was below other nicer facilities.

The parking was very safe. The rate was reasonable. The staff was friendly. The room was comfortable and smelled clean. The carpet and beds were clean. However, the bathroom had mold on the celing. The caulking was poorly done in the bathtub. The furniture needs replaced. The site was convenient for my needs.

The room was rough. It was clean, but there was clean, but there was all kinds of cosmetic issues. Just not a very quality of room.

It was inexpensive and the room was clean and quiet. It looks like they are upgrading the property. I’ll stay again in the future.

I have been staying in hotels for over 30 years, and I have never encountered such a dirty and unhygienic property. There was mold on the ceiling in both the bedroom and bathroom, the bathroom fixtures were rusted with insects present, the bed sheets were dirty, the carpet was torn, and the entire room had clearly not been cleaned. The door was so flimsy that it could be pushed open even while locked. I complained and checked out within two hours, then booked another hotel. The front desk advised me to contact Expedia for a refund, but despite reaching out, I have not received one. This experience has caused me to lose trust in Expedia, as it is concerning that such a substandard hotel is allowed to be listed and booked through the Expedia platform.

I checked into hotel and went to the room. Found bed bug on the pillow, door lock was broken, lamp shade was broken and dirty. We checked out with in 1/2 hour of stay. We paid for 3 days a and were only reimbursed for 1.
