Diamond Head Inn

BUDGET-FRIENDLY. If you are looking to stay next to the beach on a budget, this is the go-to hotel. There comes some cons with that. The hotel is going under some construction with their front office, so check-in is about a 5 minute walk to their sister location, PB Surf. THIS ALSO MEANS NO COMPLEMENTARY BFAST. Not a killer, but just want you to know. Parking is complementary for your stay, but we were lucky as we stayed during the weekdays and we were always able to find at least one spot on the Diamondhead property. They allow parking at the sister location if the parking is full though. No ice machine. The fridge in the queen bed room had a mini fridge but no freezer. Idk about the other room selections though. If you’re a bottom room, you should be able to hear upstairs pretty well at night. Rooms have been updated with furniture, but I don’t think the carpet was. Those are the cons. The pros definitely outweigh them if you are looking to stay near the beach at an affordable price with walkable tasty restaurants on one side and the beach life on the other. Had a great time on my vacation doing tours and sightseeing and this hotel does the job.

The parking was terrible, check in was at another property, waking up to old piping smell wasn’t pleasant.

Very good room service.

1-Microwave was working but not heating anything. 2-There was no Ice maker in the building. 3- the phone in the room was a joke. It did not connect to anyone.

The location was terrific.

The Hotel itself worn out. We had to check in at an adjacent hotel and it was not clear nor friendly how to get what we needed. For example we were a party of 4 - there were 3 forks, 3 cups. 3 plates. Altho the kitchen had a sink, microwave & stove top there wasn't a sponge or a tea towel. There was an outside space but it was communal and there was but one outdoor chair. Would not recommend nor go back.

Gray locations staff was friendly Vanessa checked us in quickly and gave us great service

Diamond head inn,PB surf Hotel and Pacific Shores Inn are all three hotels close to each other that are owned by the same people and I can say they were very nice and kind! Diamond head is my favorite! So close to the beach! and the rooms were always clean. The Wi-Fi always worked so I could get work done, and it was always the best price!

No lobby at the facility so check in was about 3 blocks away at another hotel also owned by same people.
