Noosa Hinterland Retreat

We enjoyed our privacy and the room was lovely! Comfortable king sized bed in the Orchid suite, great shower and nice private deck! Lovely breakfast and snacks left for you in your room. Location was perfect! Thank you!

Stayed in the hinterland studio underneath the main building for about two fifty AUD a night not during the peak season yet and enjoyed: + Peaceful and quiet surrounds in a bush setting (10-15minutes drive to the nearest towns with more shops and dining options) + Well stocked basic kitchenette with complimentary snacks and breakfast (we saw popcorn, oats, muesli bars, juice, yoghurt, milk, lots of fruit, bread and pastries, butter, jam, vegemite) all much appreciated + Like other reviewers mentioned, real carton of milk was provided during my stay, refreshing change and saved me from doing additional groceries + Air fryer, toaster, kettle etc included ironing board and broom for basic cleaning provided. No heavy cooking allowed per the guest rules which suited just fine, don’t forget you have the bbq outside to use (the weather wasn’t great during my stay so unfortunately didn’t try it out) + Secure back area for any dogs/pets approved by the host + Easy responsive communication, nothing was a hassle for Russ!! + Pretty clean overall (unlike other another reviewer I didn’t find significant amounts of pet hair anywhere. I had a good look on the couch etc just in case but it was well cleaned out just a few strays here and there no biggie). However unfortunately find few long brown curly dog hairs loose ones stuck in the main sheets which I picked off as best I could surprisingly out of all places which again I didn’t mind as some dog hairs can be hard to wash out and not everyone is a responsible pet owner (the rules clearly state that this studio pet should be kept off furniture as well).

Not much but if I were to be really picky for other guests here are some points which may help you decide if it's for you: - The studio being underneath a Queenslander in the ‘hinterland’ can get a bit dark indoors if you’re spending a lot of time inside (no biggie for me). They do have another 2 joined cabins (orchard and something else) within walking distance with their own decks too - The noise being underneath the Queenslander was surprisingly not too bad at all, just a bit of walking around and some loud movement I noticed at about 9:30-10:30pm one night otherwise most evenings the occupants upstairs were really considerate thankfully Great stay overall, if you’re happy with the pricing and being a bit secluded but conveniently located in the settings. It’s not meant to be luxurious but you can tell the hosts try their best!

A lovely little staycation and we could take our furbaby. Lovely stay.

This was exactly what I needed. It was quiet and had lovely bird song. Was a great spot to day trip from but also just stay and relax.
