No breakfast included because we were there after Labor Day (but nice breakfast place is across the street.)

According to TA, this accommodation is rated 4.8. I’m not sure what others are experiencing, but mine was a 3 at best. My wife and I booked a Deluxe King, which has a walk-in shower, a king bed and a small sitting area. Our first impressions were that this motel is very dated. Again, I don’t know what others experienced, so I will simply state facts. The room that we were in is called ‘Harwich’ and was #17. To get in, you had to open an old-fashioned storm door before the main door. To open the main door, you have to use an old school hard key with the plastic holder with your room number on it. 1970 something, anyone? We then got inside and noticed carpet on the floors that are stained in some spots, which overall seemed unsanitary. Finally, the bathroom is tiny, but not a big deal, except for the aforementioned walk-in shower. This walk-in is no wider than 3 feet across and 3 feet wide. This is not an exaggeration . My wife and I are not large people and we can barely turn around. Behind and under the bed needs serious cleaning attention, as did the wine glass that had a lipstick stain on it. The bed, however, was very comfortable and we both felt rested in the morning. Further, there was a nice welcome note by Phil with candy, still water and a coffee maker with 2 branded mugs. The outside in areas is a little overgrown. For example, in the main building to get to the second level, the stairs are covered with overgrowth. . The fire pit area is nice, where we sat for a couple of hours. In reading Phil’s bio, he has many years of hotel experience. He does well with branding with the mugs, stickers, note pads, etc. In my opinion, he now needs to work on renovating the rooms to bring them up to current standards, (reconstructing the rooms for larger showers, putting down luxury vinyl plank flooring, addressing the exterior of the buildings and some landscaping). This place has great potential. I’m sure those that stayed before us are overlooking many of these details, as they are likely recurring guests. Plus, this seems to cater to those over 60.

I can’t even put words into how much we love this place. We love to call it our home away from home. Phil is a great host and makes sure we have everything we need and the place feels like home. They include a small breakfast in the summer that’s very convenient and delicious. The location is perfect with restaurants in the area that are delicious, the beach is only a few minutes away which is a plus. I always recommend this beautiful place to friends and family to come and enjoy the beauty of cape cod.

Phil, Sylvia and their staff always give us an amazing home base here when we stay at the cape. Always a clean room with everything you could need, also are quick to help/restock if needed. Great location and even better hospitality. We recommend sesuit harbor house to anyone looking for a place to stay in the cape. Look no further, this is the place!

We loved it here!! Stayed 2 nights as part of our road trip around New England. I don’t normally write such long reviews but this really deserves a thoughtful one…. Our accommodation was lovely and probably one of the biggest and comfortable beds we have ever slept in. All the little touches in the room didn’t go without notice either. The gardens and pool area we really lovely, surrounded by trees and flowers. Phil was a super host🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟. Gave us lots of of great local tips and even a couple of deck chairs and beach umbrella for our day on the very lovely Mayflower Beach👌how thoughtful is that!! As for food options in the area we were really happy…. Got to go to Grumpies for Breakfast!! ( only across the road) Service and the food spot on!! The lobster rolls at Sesuit harbour cafe are an absolute must!! And the Lost Dog Pub, 5 min walk from our accommodation was a complete surprise…. Looks nothing on the outside and then u step inside to a vibrant , friendly and lively bar that has great food too. Icecreans across the road are not to be missed either😂 All in all this was a perfect stay. Phil and your wife…. Thank you for everything!!! Some of my girlfriends and I took a trip down to the Cape early September and stayed at the Sesuit Harbor House. I had grown up coming to the Cape but have never stayed here before. It was recommended by a friend. Sesuit Harbor House is a quintessential Cape Cod hotel. It is charming with just an overall friendly and homey vibe. We sat by the firepit our first night and met a sweet family and shared a great night, the owners came out and gave us "smore kits"- very nostalgic. Phil and Silvia are so attentive and ensure that everyone has a great experience. The goats are a cute plus too :)
