"Awful"

My husband and I chose this hotel based on the reviews What a shock Our room was in need of a huge renovation The oven was rusty and the floor uneven The bathroom was awful, fabric shower curtains and the size of a portaloo The grounds around the pool were muddy and wet and the pool area was dirty There were flies all around the outside sitting area so absolutely impossible to sit there I have no idea who wrote the previous reviews The owner greeted us wearing dirty trousers and was quite dismissive It was so disappointing we checked out a day early It was a truly awful experience Can’t believe the great comments from others

"A simple, pleasant hotel for a nice, short stay."

The room was comfortable and they make it easy to check-in/out without fuss.

Loud AC unit forced me to turn up TV. Shower very small and needs a deep clean for mold (?) along the ridge.

"Daughters wedding "

We stayed here for my daughter’s wedding. I stayed in the Nantucket, my daughter and her fiancé/husband stayed in the Martha’s Vineyard and my father was in Bourne. Phil was the perfect host. He was so accommodating and the atmosphere was quintessential Cape Cod. I would definitely return!

What a shock when we arrived Rusty oven Uneven floors Flies outside by table and chairs so couldn’t sit there Bathroom hardly a bathroom, tiny with ridiculously small shower Nothing like the photos or reviews we read before arrival Very disappointed

"Family gathering"

This was a great place to stay with a family group. The grounds are lovely and very easy to access, the fire pit was a wonderful place to gather. We were 18 adults, 6 kids and 3 babies... everyone had a great time. Lina from Ottawa

Everything was great! Love the check in/out process.The grounds are expansive and beautifully landscaped. The room was very comfortable and CLEAN! Loved the Cape vibe. Goatmania is such a cool amenity and you can pet them too - thank you. The pool, fire pit, lawn games, picnic tables, free treats, candy in the room, and fresh water and ice delivered daily. Last but not least, the owners and their staff genuinely cared about our comfort and happiness. I loved our visit and will visit again.

Room darkening shades would be a plus.
