Pomme d'Or Hotel

The best thing about this Hotel is the location on Liberation Square and the excellent service from the staff, who were so helpful and friendly, they made our stay very enjoyable.

We had an enjoyable stay at Pomme d’Or which is located in the centre of St Helier and very close to the bus station. The staff were very helpful and the hotel was spotless throughout. We had a classic room which was adequate but had no view. The breakfast buffet was comprehensive, but the evening meal was also in a buffet style every night. This became tedious after a couple of evenings. The Café Bar adjoining the hotel was open all day and provided alternative options.

Great greeting and informative about services available. Staff all wore a uniform which looked smart and all we came into contact with were polite and chatty. Our room safe was not working and within 5 minutes of speaking to reception “Joseph” arrived and fixed it. Joseph was also a friendly conversationalist without being intrusive. Good clean room with all we needed. Hotel close to shops, harbour and bus station.

It was my boyfriends 30th birthday we held, Victoria the events organizer was a big disappointment I paid £190 for the room we stayed in overnight, the bed was so uncomfortable, we had to wait 25 minutes for breakfast. I am not coming back again I had a horrible nights sleep and it was massively overpriced.

Welcoming by staff excellent helpful and very polite. No delays as plenty of staff at desk. Comfortable air conditioned room with comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast, cafe for light lunches and buffet dinner( very reasonable prices)

Really enjoyed our stay at the Pomme d’Or. The room and en-suite were immaculate, lovely choice for breakfast with full English, fruit, cereals and pastries and every member of staff was courteous and polite! We wouldn’t hesitate to book again!

Well run, pricy hotel with very nice rooms and high end front desk staff. But to be fair, Jeresy is an expensive location overall with almost everything having to come in by boat. Be sure to see the Jersey Zoo!
