Kempinski Hotel Hangzhou

Hotel room was amazing, spacious, clean, decorated with taste and so comfortable. Love the in-room tub that I can enjoy a hot soak at the end of day. The hotel staff were the most helpful as I was a solo traveller and they gladly assisted me with my luggage courier when I delivered them from another city a day before my check-in. Check-in process was smooth and so was check out. They even accommodated a late check out for me on my last day. Location of the hotel is satisfactory (about 30 mins drive from Xihu) and next to a mall a well to give that quick access for food and anything you need on a pinch.

Magnificent, spotlessly clean and very comfortable accommodation. Beautiful gardens too! The hotel is a short walk from a great shopping centre which is also very convenient.

I've been stayed here for 3 days and the experience through was amazing. Very convenient location, bright & clean room make me feel like home. Have tried the food in the 3 outlets including ADD, Frieda and Chinese Restaurant, even in-room dining, its all well cooked with fresh ingredients, "pian er chuan"now becomes one of my favourate food in Hangzhou. Would definitely choose the hotel next time when I travel to Hangzhou

In my professional life I have stayed at many hotels around the world, but hardly ever before have I experienced such an excellent service as during my seven days stay at the Kempinski Hotel Hangzhou. The team truly makes you feel at home and is professional but at the same time full of empathy and dedication. I also had the pleasure of meeting Janet, the general manager of the hotel, who is such a charming person. Kudos to her and the entire team, looking forward to coming back again!

The standing bath water drainage is not good. Water flowed to bath tub area, making it slippery prone to falling and slipping. Pls improve.

Best experience for a 1st time visitor to China. The hospitality is amazing and Miss 段素维 from housekeeping did her best to assist me when I was feeling a little under the weather and resting in the room. Really appreciate everything they did!

The décor is great and comfortable, and the location offers convenient access to restaurants and a shopping center. There is an excellent massage parlour right next to the hotel. Although it's slightly further from the main city area, I find it perfectly fine as it allows me to avoid crowds.
