Comfort Inn Iron Mountain North

We usually avoid staying at Comfort Inns because in the past they have not quite been up to our standards. We were travelling with our dog, and the hotel options were limited in Iron Mountain. Our room was spacious with a desk, table, and couch in addition to our king size bed and main console for the TV, microwave and fridge, and the hotel is well set back from the main road, so we heard no traffic noise, even though we faced the street. The front desk people were helpful and courteous, the whole lobby, breakfast room, and our room were clean and well kept up. The breakfast options were sufficient - one main option of scrambled eggs and sausage patties on the morning of our stay, waffles, cereal, etc., but no oatmeal. The only issues we had is that first of all we like to sleep cool, and we really couldn't quite get the temp down to a level we liked, and second, the toilet would run after almost every flush and the tank would not fill. I resolved this each time by taking the tank cover off and jiggling the float and fill assembly. We told the front desk about this when we left.

Didn’t have it. Chose to sleep in rather than eat

Have knee/back issues. Low toilets caused me a lot of pain. Can’t imaging if had recent knee surgery. Wld stay again only if cld get a handicapped room with higher toilets/ safety bars

Friendly staff, quiet location, fine stay

Staff were friendly, plenty of parking, decent hot breakfast.
