Was a nice relaxing stay

Check in and check out staff was very friendly. Breakfast was ok, staff was slow at putting out fresh food.

Breakfast was good. Room was clean and beds very comfortable. The location was good for our visit.

Breakfast was typical motel food. Having coffee available all the time was nice.

We requested a handicapped room, because my husband has a prosthetic leg. Walking distances is very difficult. The room was at the end of the hall farthest from the lobby and breakfast room, making it difficult for him to make use of any of the accommodations. The exit door at that end was not accessible, having 3 steps and a very heavy door to access the entrance. Also, we never received cleaning service, which we were supposed to have after 3 nights. When I pointed these things out to the manager, he made excuses.

The staff was very nice, but there was no hot water (barely even warm) in the shower, hallways had not been recently vacuumed, and the sheets needed to be changed before we moved in. Surrounding property was unattractive. In light of all these things, it was greatly overpriced!

Front desk person was nice... Nothing else.

We checked in close to midnight and the staff told us the A/C didn't work properly, so they could only offer us a "pet room", which we couldn't take due to allergies. But they wouldn't cancel the reservation, saying that because it was booked through a 3rd party. Then a supervisor got on the phone and told me the A/C should be fine, although he was no where near the property, and staff at the property made notes for each other that the A/C was not working properly. My 87 year old mother had a long drive, and needed to use a concentrator for breathing at night so I was not going to risk the A/C malfunction in the middle of the night. They had plenty of king bed rooms but would not give us an extra room for 3 people either. So we had to go find another hotel in the middle of the night. They then charged me for 2 nights, and 1 more night for no-show. The property might have been fine, but I never got to experience it, although I got to experience the management lack of hospitality though.
