Our stay at the San Domingo Four Seasons in Taormina was an unforgettable experience, straight out of *The White Lotus*. This palatial hotel perfectly captured Sicily’s charm, offering stunning views of the Ionian Sea and Mount Etna from our luxurious terrace. The staff's exceptional service made us feel like royalty. Every detail—from the infinity pool that seemed to touch the sky, to the exquisite Sicilian cuisine—was pure perfection. The hotel’s location allowed easy access to Taormina’s treasures, including the ancient Greek Theatre and picturesque streets. San Domingo blends elegance, history, and the magic of Sicily effortlessly. It was the best hotel stay we've ever had—a true slice of paradise.

So we actually went June 2023- but I forgot to write a review until now. Spectacular. Gorgeous hotel, they kept so much of the character and really leaned into Sicilian heritage and art. Amazing location, amazing recommendations. excellent service-Staff was so knowledgeable and kind. Months later, when I had needed a recommendation and I didn't know who to ask, I emailed Ms. Perna, and even though she had no obligation to help me, she still went out of her way to help me. They had the most amazing gluten free chocolate croissants I've ever had, and they even sent me the recipe!

Last weekend, my family and I, including our two young children, had the pleasure of staying at this luxurious and exclusive hotel. From the moment we arrived, the hotel surpassed all our expectations. The interiors are stunningly designed, and our room was nothing short of fantastic. We were treated to breathtaking views that added a special touch of comfort and elegance to our stay. Each morning, we enjoyed delicious and varied breakfasts, setting a positive tone for the day ahead. In the evenings, we relaxed at the bar, savoring exquisite cocktails in a cozy atmosphere. The staff at the hotel were exceptionally pleasant and always ready to assist us with anything we needed. Their attentiveness and professionalism made us feel right at home, ensuring that our stay was both comfortable and memorable. The hotel’s location is ideal, with all major attractions within walking distance, allowing us to easily explore and enjoy the surrounding area. One of the highlights of our stay was the spa area, where we had a wonderful time splashing in the pool with our children and indulging in some relaxation. This trip was the fulfillment of my wife’s long-held dream to visit the hotel featured in the second season of the TV series “The White Lotus.” The reality truly surpassed our expectations, making it an unforgettable experience. We are already looking forward to our next visit to this remarkable hotel. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking top-notch service, exceptional comfort, and unforgettable experiences. This place is really expensive, particularly after the White Lotus series. However, it is a great hotel in a spectacular location. We had a sea view premium room with terrace and truly enjoyed the spacious outside balcony overlooking the Ionian Sea- definitely worth the extra expense. The pool is a happening scene. Interior was typical FS flower show. Food was ok, not standout.

Breakfast was very comprehensive. Something for everyone. Staff could not do enough. Housekeeping were faultless. Just everything exceeded our expectations. Amazing location. Will be back

I have never been as sad as I was today when I left Taormina and my stay at San Domenico Palace ended. It is undoubtedly my favourite hotel in the whole wide world at this point. Firstly, the hotel itself is a masterpiece. The art, the plantations, the architecture. Secondly, our room was LOVELY, overlooking the Ionian Sea with a personal pool. Shout out to the housekeeping team for leaving us lovely gifts and for their terrific attention to detail - the rooms were impeccable thanks to them. For example, everyday we came back to our room to find our hastily left spectacles neatly put on a personalised San Domenico Chamois. Or our cable wires would be nearly wound up with a leather holder. It really is the small and big stuff, isn’t it, that makes the experience great? The food - oh my god - the food! The beef fillet! The Ragu pasta! The breakfast spread! The cannolis! Gorgeous green olive oil! Just the pure quality of food and the mastery of cooking will promise you no bad meals at San Domenico. Also - Panoramic views of the Ionian Sea during meal times! San Domenico Palace is a food lovers paradise. The biggest shout out to Mr. Dario Amoroso who is the restaurant supervisor who hosted us during all our meals at San Domenico - he is so good at what he does. A huge thanks to him for making sure we had the best meals, for making us feel like truly special guests…we will remember our time with him very very fondly. A true gentleman! And a shout out to Giulia Torrisi (part of the concierge team) for helping us navigate through Taormina with the best reccos and 24x7 help. Your energy is contagious, signora!! San Domenico Palace is an expensive stay. But it is so worth it. Worth every penny. So so so very happy with the service, the stay, the experience. Came because of White Lotus, stayed because it was truly perfect. Thanks team San Domenico Palace for everything. 11/10 recommend as I am sure you can tell.

BEST HOTEL EVER

Stayed here on a tour. The accommodations were satisfactory, but the walk downhill and, even more challenging, uphill made it difficult to go back and forth into Taormina itself. Many in our group struggled with it. The breakfast was very nice; loved the coffee machine!
