The rooms are exceptionally comfortable and are one of the main reasons we returned, having stayed here before. The staff were friendly and welcoming at check-in, and overall the hotel provides a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

The spa was a little disappointing. We were aware it was relatively small, but as the hotel promotes itself as a spa hotel, it didn't quite live up to our expectations. Our biggest disappointment was the lack of recognition for our wedding anniversary. We had noted this when booking and were also asked at check-in whether we were celebrating a special occasion. Unfortunately, there was no card, chocolates, or any small gesture in the room to acknowledge it. We enjoyed our stay and the comfort of the rooms remains a real highlight. However, when guests choose a hotel to celebrate a special occasion, it's often the small personal touches that make the experience memorable. Sadly, this was missing for us, which would make us think twice about returning for another celebration or recommending the hotel to couples marking a special occasion.
