Attention to detail at this property was incredible! Den was so accommodating and friendly and made the most amazing breakfast! Very comfortable beds and could tell that everything was of a built and decorated with high standard and great taste.

"Lovely stay, lovely room, lovely host"

Lovely room and very comfortable bed. Very welcoming and attentive host, we especially appreciated the cup of tea and cake on arrival. For us, the bathroom being across the hallway was no problem at all. In terms of location, the Saddlers Arm is a 3 minute walk away and does very good pub food.

"Lovely B&B"

Lovely and comfortable. Immaculately clean. Den was very accommodating. Breakfast was delicious.

Nothing, all was great. As a point for others, Booking.Com advertise this property as being 1.9 miles from Powderham Castle (we were visiting to see Duran Duran), however this distance is actually as the crow flies across the Exe valley / estuary and not the true distance which is approx 11 miles / 25 mins drive away. We were not the only people to book thinking we were just down the road from the venue - Booking.Com you need to sort this out. This is unfair on both the customer and the B&B owner.

Usually plenty of fruit for breakfast but we noticed this year you didn’t get the choice also in other B& B as well .

"Friendly accommodating hosts"

What a wonderful welcome we received from Den! Our bedroom with ‘super-king’ bed was ‘super’ comfy, with provisions of nice towels, dressing gowns and slippers. Unfortunately our first night was a tad uncomfortable due to the hot weather, with no fan and it was too late to ask the hosts time we realised, however once we asked the next day it was no trouble and they soon provided one. Breakfast was top drawer!! Such good choice, cooked to order and coffee was lush!
