Days Inn by Wyndham Colorado Springs/Garden of the Gods

The upkeep on this hotel has not been maintained. There were holes in the drapes, the carpet was dirty, you can see where picture and mirrors used to hang, the furniture was really beat up, the ceiling in the bathroom had seperated, there were stains on the sheets and a cigarette burn hole in the comforter, and the room smelled like smoke even though it was a non-smoking..... just to name a few. On a positive note, the lady at the front desk was friendly when checking in.

Wyndham quality has declined terribly. Facility was clean, but badly in need of basic repairs (paint, dents). We had to ask for a tv remote and new batteries on the chirping smoke detector. No one was available by phone at 8 pm the day I was supposed to check in (flight delay) or at 8:30 the next morning (to find out if I could use the rest of my reservation). The "continental breakfast" was cereal, waffles, coffee and juice. No water. When I used to travel, Wyndham had a good reputation, no matter the name on the facility. Obviously, times have changed.

The rooms had no locks on the glass door, there were cracks in the bathtub tile around and in bathtub. The rooms were cold heat didn't work, it was so bad we had to check out early and find another place to stay on our honeymoon at that. Terrible experience.

Always quiet and no deposit, has walk out sliders for smoking outside convenience and br3akfast! I dig this plac3 caus4 they always make it really simple for us in and out!
