Beraja Family Hostel

O quarto é limpo, cama espaçosa, a equipe.muito atenciosa, café da manhã fantástico, tem local para recreação muito bem decorado. Próximo a muitos pontos turísticos e da praia, próximo à mercados, parada de ônibus e metrô.

Só tem banheiros no andar térreo. Poderia ter algum próximo aos quartos superiores.

Very welcoming and accommodating family

A little far from things but I enjoyed the walk.

I really liked my stay at Beraja hostel. The family is so kind and willing to help. They gave me a lot of tips on were to go to in Lima and it was nice chatting with them. Also, the beds are comfortable and I liked that the hostel was cosy and quit.

Its a family run place and they are absolutely lovely. The mother cooks very delicious home made food for very reasonable price, home made jam and eggs and fruit for breakfast😋😋😋 The daughter is the translator and very helpful and attentive. The place is very clean, organized and well managed. The place is full of Peruvian art work and antiques. They guid you with where to go and how to go, where to exchange money and lots of helpful tips. You will feel cared for by the family

I didnt like that i couldnt stay longer :)

Beraja Family Hostel is the perfect place to stay. Luz and Willy who run it were so kind and helpful - nothing was too much trouble - and they provided excellent recommendations and tips for my stay. The place was spotless, great breakfast and comfy beds.

Just sad I couldn't stay longer but will be recommending the hostel to anyone travelling to Lima.

The minute you walk in, you know it's a special place. Location is on the Miraflores end of Barranco, but down a side street away from all the hustle and bustle of both. Easy 20min walk to either town center, and to the Parque Kennedy. Delightful terrace up top for relaxing. House cats aplenty, some that will come say hello and beg for pets, some a bit more cautious. Included breakfast was fabulous. A fried egg with local bread, butter, and homemade jam, a bowl of fresh cut fruit, and tea or coffee. A good mix of Travellers, some backpackers, some traveling through learning Spanish, everyone extremely friendly. But the highlight has to be Luz and her family, that really put the family in the name of the hostel. The very first thing she said - ¡mostly en Espanol! - when we arrived is that in Peru, speaking English only is not good, you need to speak Spanish! And you immediately knew that she wasn't being rude, or to make you feel bad, but she says it out of love and wanting her guests to get the best out of their stay in Lima and Peru! And of course, she was 100% correct! Gave us the best recommendations for food, and also helped us organize an early 3am airport transfer and some great tips for our hike to Machu Picchu (coca extract capsules were excellent!). ¡Muchas gracias Luz!

The only thing I didn't like is that I didn't get to stay longer and get to know Luz and the Beraja hostel family better!
