Beraja Family Hostel

My stay at Beraja was very comfortable. Most importantly they have HOT SHOWERS!! Willy & Luz are kind, welcoming, & accommodating. It’s a warm family atmosphere, and the location is great in the barrio of Barranco which is a cool area to wander around with tons of street art and lots of great restaurants, also only 10-15 walking distance from the coast and the beautiful malecón. Yet the street is very quiet, which has been rare to find in my hostel stays in Peru. I didn’t have to wear earplugs while sleeping for once! It’s also very close to Miraflores so there really is tons to do and see nearby. They have plenty of wall outlets in the bedrooms too which is important. I had a great stay and would stay here again!

Amazing family owned hostel in great suburb for travellers in Lima. They will make sure you have the best stay and help you for your travels plan around Peru and are always here to have a good chat with you.

I stayed this lovely hostel for three nights. They were so welcoming, always tried to make me feel comfortable, served delicious breakfast and gave some recommendations for restaurants, shops, etc. Every people in this hostel was nice. There's a wonderful encounter while staying so I really appreciate. Location is perfect. You can go to Barranco and Miraflores by walking. Both are safe and beautiful areas. Room is cute, you can feel like in your real home. I'd definitely come back:)

Beraja gave me everything I needed. Luz and her family are the best people, welcoming you. I was a last minute booking, but they still managed to organsie airport pick up for early morning and sorted me a room to rest in until mine was ready. They gave amazing recommendations of local restaurants, places to visit and travel ideas. Rooms are clean, large beds and great storage lockers. I stayed in both a private room and a dorm, both were great.

Very friendly host family and always willing to help

It is a really cozy space with the hosts and a few cute cats :) The family was super sweet, friendly and attentive and will help you with everything you need. If you are looking for a more personal space to stay in and start/end your journey in peru i can only recommend the baraja family hostel!

It felt like a home away from home. Everybody is super nice and friendly. The location is perfect to reach barranco and Miraflores by foot and el Centro Historico by foot.

The family is amazing, they are super nice people and make sure everything is fine. The breakfast included a lot for a hostel breakfast and the location is amazing. Don’t stay outside the touristy areas (Miraflores + barranco) 😅. There are also some cats and a small rooftop terrace

Facilities need a little upgrade to make this place a 10/10. The dorm is sometimes pretty warm, in my bed sitting was not possible, toilets are not on the same floor.
