Wingate by Wyndham Lincoln Airport East I-80

On line showed hotel out of 2 double bed rooms so I paid $30 more for a king…. When checking in I was told that they were “upgrading” me to 2 double beds… I asked if I would be reimbursed the difference as I had paid extra for the king bedroom…. No was the answer… I stated I wanted the king bedroom then… got to my room… 11:15 pm tired as heck and what do I find … 2 double beds 😫to tired to argue at this point… won’t be staying at a Wingate as had a bad experience last week too in Kansas City… no air conditioning in my sisters room with nobody came to help and no reduction in price… thank goodness our room connected so we opened the door between the rooms also they could get a little cooler to sleep…

DO NOT STAY HERE. Our stay here was nothing short of awful. When we left our room and shut the door the latch that you can only close from the inside latched itself and locked us out. The tool to fix this apparently was with the manager an hour away so we had no way to get in our room to get our belongings. Two hours later we finally got in and no sorry from anyone.

The room had an issue with drainage and there was a standing water in the tub. The water stayed in the tub for 15 min after the shower. The room and hotel had seen better days.

This place was terrible, none of the TVs in the whole hotel were working and hadn't for a whole week and they didn't tell us when we checked in. The pool was permanently closed, the rooms were dirty with hair in the shower. The whole hotel was run down. In the morning after putting up with all this there wasn't any coffee.

Good stay neat airport

The first room they put us in had water dripping from the ceiling from the air conditioner ducts that caused mold to run all down the wall. They tried to put us into a comparable room, but the door lock wouldn't read key cards, so they put us up in a random room across the hall which was a downgrade from what we booked with no adjustment in the price. Turns out the air conditioner in that room just didn't work at all. When we came up the next day, our keys were deactivated because the person working the night shift didn't actually document all these room shifts, so we had to go back to the front desk. We were finally moved into a room with a working air conditioner, but the tub wouldn't drain and the sheets were dirty. Not one to complain usually but this was the worst experience I've had by far. To make it worse, the included breakfast was just rancid waffle batter and cereal from a dispenser that's never been cleaned.

They did not disclose that the pool was permanently closed until AFTER you completed your booking and would not cancel and refund me an hr later once I found a number to contact because I book via Expedia and did not purchase the trip protection. I did not purchase the trip protection because I was definitely making the trip. The only reason I wanted to cancel is because they didn’t have a pool and their accommodations said they had a pool and it was an important part of our vacation. Also they would not provide me with a number for EXPEDIA to call to try to resolve my issue.The Expedia website had no information for contacting customer service for help either. I will NEVER book a room at Wyndham and I will never book via Expedia again

The hallways smelled horrible, the shower was a little dirty, the fan was loud in the bathroom, the bed was hard, the exit door didn't open properly from inside.

Staff were very friendly. Beds were comfortable. My wife said room smelled of smoke. A/C unit worked, but not well. Breakfast was disappointing because (1) coffee was very weak, (2) there was a warmer for eggs or sausage, but it was empty, and (3) the juice from the machine tasted terrible. Location is convenient off freeway. Branding is confusing since one side of outdoor sign says "Wingate by Wyndham", other side of sign says "Country Inn by Radisson", coffee cups in lobby say "Hilton", and toiletries in bedroom were 3 different brands. Overall, stay was OK for quick overnight, but I would not want to stay here for extended stay.
