Tulsa Square Hotel Central, I-44 By OYO

Honestly, I don’t know where to begin. Easily the worst experience I’ve had with a hotel and also your service during a very difficult situation.

Room was in poor condition.

Checked in went to room holes in walls, no blanket just sheets, drapes broken, bathroom has duct tape on toilet paoer holder. No remote for tv spent about 2 hours waiting for them to figure out to program new remote i ended up doing it.

Only thing good was the young man at the desk, Nicolas. He helped get maintenance to fix the water leak from the air unit and gave us something to patch the hole where the door handle had been pulled off. He was very helpful in trying to help. I would give him a 15 on a scale of 1 to 10.

Everything! The bathtub was filthy. Housecleaning never came to clean it. I bought cleaner and gave to the family I put in the hotel to clean it. Every ice machine on every floor was broken. The pool was covered and not open. The dryers didn't work. There were holes in the walls, the floor in front of one of the beds had water everywhere which maintenance did fix the next day. The website showing the property must have been what the property used to look like. My husband and I were helping a family that had been evicted from their rental and had no place to go. We were looking for a no frills clean hotel for them to stay in for a week and one they could afford on their own until they could find another place to rent. The only bright spot was Nicolas. The young man at the front desk. I think he works late afternoon till 9 pm. He did his best to help. Overall rating for this hotel is 0.

Where to start… Listen I have been in a lot of “value” hotels especially when it’s just one night. First off the entire building REEKED of cigarettes. Which I get, it’s Tulsa…. But it’s a “non-smoking” hotel….okay 🙄. Lobby and staff was fine. Hot but fine. The room I booked was “non-smoking” room. Opening the door you could smell the cigarette smoke. The sheets and the covers had cigarette burns all over them and smelt of cigarettes. No remote for the tv. Didn’t matter because the cable didn’t work. Little kitchen area was fine. Clean enough and I wasn’t using it so not concerns there. The bathroom was gross. Wallpaper peeling, toilet paper holder broken, shower curtain nasty, and no trash can to be fine in the whole room. It’s only one night we tell ourselves and push on. I shower and immediately the tub starts filling. Great. I hurry up my shower. Takes almost an hour for the tub to drain. Go attend to the business that we came into town for. Come back to go to bed and low and behold… Roaches. On the floor on the side table. The pillows are tiny refuse to sleep under the sheet. The only good thing about this room was the A/C worked very well, loud, but it was nice and cool. Overall, worst hotel stay in awhile. Do not recommend.

Do not stay here! This hotel stank of cigarette smoke. The people hanging around were very scary and appeared to be on drugs. The room was filthy with falling down floor moulding. I didnt even want to se anything down. I felt very unsafe. We checked out immediately!

Terrible. You cant check in early at all not just because its extra but because there is no one at the desk. Also additional fees for early and late check out. Place wreaked of weed and piss. Unnatural since of danger. Two rooms i was shown, one smelled of sandlewood and Cigarette smoke. The second had visibly lumpy beds and a huge horse fly landed on the bed as i walked in. Paint pulling away in spots from water damage

Staff was great and outside of hitel was great. room was the worst ive ever stayed in. Walls were dirty. No light in the bedroom area... no fixture and no lamp so no option for light. There was ine towel in the room. We had 3 people so i asked for more and was given one more because thats all they had. Bed only had a sheet. Parking lot had a lot of sketchy people loitering. We got what sleep we could and left.

It was really nice and the gentleman at the front desk was very professional and courteous 10/10
