The Portofino Hotel & Marina, a Noble House Hotel

I was so wowed by Johnny in Valet. He was so kind and friendly. Very warm and welcoming. Hang on to him. He was a great start to our stay.

I had the best experience amiably because of the magnificent valet Jonny L. He was kind, accommodating and had such a warm and friendly energy. He was the reason the whole stay at the hotel was amazing. He’s the best!

Stayed here for a few days for the dodger World Series celebration. During my stay, Johnny (Valet) was superb. Very welcoming and very attentive. A true example of what customer service should be. Thanks Johnny! The hotel was nice and clean as well. Quiet. Most importantly though, the room was clean! The front desk staff was also very welcoming as well. Thanks!

Johnny the valet was FANTASTIC! He was professional, courteous, responsive and a true pleasure to chat with. I look forward to my next stay at this fabulous hotel at the Marina.

What a beautiful relaxing location Redondo Beach affords. With resident seals in the marina it is a unique location within the LA city precinct. The team at the Portofino hotel and resort in Redondo Beach were very cheerful , upbeat , polite and helpful. The front reception team in-particular, Greg and Samantha immediately put us at ease and were only too happy to attend to any of our requests. The rooms are beautifully appointed in a lovely nautical theme. We loved the walk ability of this location to the beach, restaurants and supermarkets. A highlight was a paddle board event in the marina with participators dressed in Halloween 🎃 theme .. a delight to see. Thank you Portofino Hotel Resort .

Had an absolutely incredible experience at the Portofino. Incredible views, incredible food and the service was top notch! Very attentive to every need from the front desk to the valet. Johnny at the valet in particular left an impression with his character that left my wife an I smiling every time we left to go out and upon arrival. 5 stars all around this hotel is worth it and well priced!

We booked a premier king room with oceanview. It has fantastic ocean view and clean room. The staff is nice and the service is great, especially gave us early check-in.

Hotel is old and dated, however that’s not why I’m giving a 1* review It states in your room that it won’t be cleaned unless requested. Our safe was full and my husband left his wallet on the table. Perhaps he would have taken it out with him but room on 2nd floor, locked and no cleaning requested, didn’t really think anything of it. Got back from our walk, beds made (not other cleaning) and wallet gone. Reception were absolutely not bothered that the wallet was gone and said no one would clean the room unless requested. We stated someone had been in the room, we were asked how we knew and we told her the beds were made. Response: we will ask around to see if anyone has seen your wallet and get back to you. Luckily it only had cards in it which we froze. Wholly unacceptable, no formal recording no concern. Would absolutely not recommend!
