GBLocation was good. Very close to the main cathedral. Parking situation is tricky around Valladolid so if you don't know the one-way system or park by mistake on a yellow line. For that reason, it was good that there was a dedicated parking spot even if you are given a key and it is a bit of a walk (just around the corner really but with suitcases in the heat of the city, it was a bit tricky!
Pool feels just for show. The pictures on booking.com gave the impression that you could swim in it but it is full of dust and particulates being right next to the road and strangely, right in view of the front desk. Maybe some dividers for privacy?
The water in the shower was hard to deal with since it was stuck on hot. Neither window in the room would lock. It did have secure parking,A long two blocks away,,,,,,

CAThis hotel should be a 4 star. Beautiful entry with traditional ceramic tile floor. Lots of plants and windows. King size bed, Nice furniture. Helpful staff!
The shower ran very hot, but we've informed them and I'm sure it's already fixed.

MXCAIt is a beautiful colonial-style hotel. The location is great, a couple of blocks from the central park and walking distance to bus and colectivo stations and most sites. The room was very nice, large, clean and well-appointed, with bed-side lamps and plug-ins, a place to put luggage and hang clothes, a desk and chair, a safe in the room. Good sized bathroom, had a counter with room for toiletries. I was concerned about the room being close to the stairs (noise), but it was quiet. The desk staff was pleasant and helpful. The pool was small, and it was odd that it is located in the lobby, but I did use it a couple of times. Had cable tv, (though it needed some fixing). Good AC. Drinking water provided.
My only complaint was the shower: water pressure was almost non-existent and the temperature went from cold to extremely hot; it was impossible to control it. I admit that I just put up with it, and it is possible that the problem was not in all rooms.
