The Golf Hotel

It was well situated and handy for the wedding I was attending at The Cow Shed. Really appreciated being able to leave my case etc before official check in time. THANK YOU!

Very poor shower pressure in my en suite. Also my bedroom door (Number 5) needs oiling on hinges as I’m sure it must waken others in neighbouring rooms

It’s a great location and very charming.

The beds were old and uncomfortable. We stayed there on a Sunday and there’s a drag race event nearby. So beginning early in the morning there were over a hundred noisy muffler, revving, hot rod cars driving right through town in front of the hotel. If your room is facing the road it’s extremely noisy. This isn’t the fault of the hotel but it was very unpleasant to listen to.

Comfortable and cozy with nice soft pillows . Staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was delicious and substantial as were the evening meals.

Cooking oil smells came into the bedroom. Some noise late on as customers left the pub.

Room was ok but bathroom door didn’t close. Floorboards creaked in room directly above ours every time guests walked across the floor and room was directly above the bar which was loud. Tough to listen to when trying to sleep.
