Location and friendly staff

Everything was great

The room was a reasonable size clean and well equipped. The breakfast was extremely good,two eggs,two link sausages, a square sausage,baked beans,black pudding and a tattie scone. There was fruit, yogurt and toast as well as coffee.

The hot water supply to the wash hand basin was very slow and rather a long time to reach a hot temperature. We didn't use the shower as we felt that the water pressure would be insufficient. There was a constant smell of cooking oil/fat in the room. The room we had number 6 was at the top of the hotel up a quite steep set of stairs, we felt that this should have been mentioned in the room description. The staff were very helpful.

Great location very good home-cooked food… great pub in the basement very friendly, helpful, staff…. getting up in the morning ,and have a good,hearty breakfast (which is included) was fantastic… especially because some days depending on tee time might not have lunch until two or 3 o’clock

We loved our 1 night stay in the Golf Hotel. We had a comfy twin bed with good bathroom facilties that met our needs. The full veggie breakfast in the morning was absolutely incredible and such a relaxed vibe from staff. Perfect location if, like us, you are attending a wedding at the Cow Shed in Crail (15 min walk!).

Food was excellent. Proper Scottish breakfast with quality butchers sausage etc. Freshly brewed coffee to order at breakfast also. Hilton hotels don’t even do that!! 👍

Room and building in general a bit tired looking

Only a personal preference-Room is a little dated however warm and comfortable but it is an older building

Crail is lovely hotel was nice ,

The owner of the golf hotel was a horrible man ,I had a fall out with him as I asked to use the bath facilities as rooms only had showers ,he was very rude and abrupt ,I went back to my room and he got me removed from hotel ,I love crail but will never step foot back in the golf hotel
