Ramada Limited Norfolk

The whole stay was horrible. Aside from place appearing abandoned, it apparently serves as rest stop for local ladies off the evening. There are several large cracks that must be stuffed with towels to keep out crawling things. After several times I learned, see pictures.

- poor check in process. Wasted too much time after a tiring long drive - lost my wallet there and got not even a courtesy symp call from management - Inconsiderate when I over paid for rooms we need.

The owner was very rude and got very upset because I booked online and said it was stupid because he had to pay a commission. The room was nasty and they could never get the key to unlike the door so we were held captive in the room. It was horrible experience

Good quality for the price i paid. Its not top of the line but good quality for the price. Breakfast was good and they kept restocking it. Pool was clean gym was nice and the room was clean.

We tried to find a last min room in Virginia Beach VA, unfortunately everything was fully book, unless we wanted to spend 500.00 for 8 hrs of sleep we had to look outside of virginia beach. Its now 11:30 pm and we are exhausted. So we decided to drive to Norfolk area the only thing we could find was this hotel. 200.00 for some sleep, there bed linens were dirty, stained, and obviously not clean. The phone had a disgusting layer of gunk on and around buttons. We laid on top of beach towels we had and put t-shirts over pillows. The floor had chunks of only god knows what on it. We rested the best we could and got out as fast as possible! Leaving...... We saw bullet hole in one of the doors of another room. Omg!

Wasn’t bothered and was treated with respect, happy to say I’ll be back!

These people were so nice to me! I was really satisfied! Front desk great even people who were not there when I checked in. I got the towels I needed. Thank you!

This place is a dump. We booked through a third party website so couldn't get our money back but no way was this dump worth $100 a night. They advertise as being near the airport but they are not and they don't have an airport shuttle. The non-smoking room we booked reeks of cigarette smoke. The beds are like concrete. The mattresses are stained. The pictures posted online look nothing like the actual room/property etc. My husband has a bad knee. We were denied a ground floor room even though we walked by several obviously empty ground floor rooms on our way to the stairs. There are lots of sketchy looking people hanging out in the parking lot. I don't feel safe here.

The place is definitely outdated but in a great location. When I got there, there were stains on the bed and mattress and it smelled like a drunk old man’s breath. I found an old pair of glasses between the spring and mattress which lets me know they don’t really clean too well. I thoroughly checked for bed bugs by lifting the mattress and box springs and checking the seams but there weren’t any. Aside from a couple small gnats, no bugs that I witnessed which was a huge relief for me. The place is definitely outdated just like a lot of other places out there. I wish these hotels would just spend a little more to update their stuff. The hotel clerks were nice and quick to respond even though I’m not too picky. The housekeeping women were attentive as well. I had room 201 and it was nice and quiet at least.

Checking in after dark means communicating through a glass or plastic screen... not really off to a welcoming, safe feeling. (The desk staff was lovely but the facility was not.) There are insufficient parking spaces so we had to park around another building. There were cats everywhere - over 100 roaming all over the place. Then came the room. The bathroom was dirty. The tub had a mat in it that hadn't been moved to clean in a LONG time. The grout job was awful - or I hope it was grout - stuck all over the bathroom wall and tub. There was a dead bug in the bathroom. There was hair on the sheet under the pillows... yuck!! Dirty sheets?!?! To make matters worse, in the morning before the check out time, we had "housekeeping" repeatedly looking through our window with cupped hands and a face against the glass. She asked us numerous times when we were leaving so she could get in as we loaded the car and got the breakfast that was part of our stay. It was almost laughable if it wasn't so disappointing... wanting to come in early to clean a room that wasn't clean BEFORE I got there?! It was atrocious and I cannot recommend!
