Newport Harbor Island Resort

My husband and I recently stayed over night…. We had a great time! The room, the view, the service and entire staff were fabulous! Shout out to Natasha in the Torpedo Bar!

We had a ladies lunch in the igloo on a Sunday in March. It’s was a sparkling day with the water as the backdrop. Our server Pradeep was awesome. He kept a steady flow of cocktails and snacks coming. The igloos are both unique in decor with heat and blankets although we didn’t need them.

We had a fabulous experience in the igloos. Pradeep was our server and he was phenomenal! We will absolutely be back again.

Had such a great experience at Restaurant 1639! This was our first time in Newport, and they really set the bar high. Natasha was our server and she was absolutely amazing—super friendly, attentive, and incredibly helpful with recommendations. You can tell she genuinely cares about making sure you have a great experience. Everything from the food to the atmosphere was spot on, and it made our first visit here feel really special. We’re already looking forward to coming back next time we’re in town!

The environment was comfortable, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed, with spacious accommodations that made it easy to relax and stay focused during a busy schedule. What truly stood out was the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. Every team member I encountered was attentive, courteous, and genuinely committed to providing excellent service. I would especially like to recognize the bartender, who went above and beyond to accommodate us. Given our tight schedule and limited time between seminar sessions, they ensured we were served promptly without compromising quality or hospitality. Overall, this is a well-managed, customer-focused establishment that understands the needs of its guests—particularly those traveling for business. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a seamless, comfortable, and service-oriented experience.

We had a wonderful time. Very relaxing. Had a great time at the bar and our bartender, Gerson, was wonderful!

Natasha was a wonderful server. My girlfriend and I had a lovely dinner at the 1639 Restaurant and she waited our table. Can’t say enough nice things about her. She was personable, knowledgeable, and kind. Her meal recommendations were a hit. We’ll be back for the food and request to have her serve us again. Thank you, Natasha.

Has everything you need to enjoy your vacation. I was a little disappointed that there wasn’t an indoor hot tub. I wanted to relax my back with jets. The food was very good and hotel was clean.

The Newport Harbor Island resort is a lovely place to get away. The rooms are comfortable & have a beautiful view. The property is well maintained. You can’t beat the location. My husband and I enjoyed the walk over the small bridge to downtown Newport. Downtown has a plentiful supple of restaurants of varying ethnic cuisine and price points. We enjoyed the Family Life conference in the spacious room which was well equipped for our needs. The resort staff was courteous and efficient. We will gladly book again.
