The most amazing way to stay in Matera. Nothing bad to say. Hosts were OUTSTANDING, communication, guidance, support. Cave was amazing. Breakfast was perfect. Location could not be better (very minimal stairs) and steps from a car drop off spot. Will reccomend this place 100% 👍

Such a special place and very cool experince! We were late to make our travel plans and were initially disappointed that some of the more well know places were booked up but were pleasantly surprised at how amazing this place was! It's small with only 4 rooms so doesn't have some of the common areas as some of the other places but the rooms are spectacular! If you love a good soak, the bathtub "cave" was incredible! A completely separate area at the bottom of the stairs beautifully decorated for decadent moment of relaxation. Unique and very cool but at the same time super clean and comfortable! And the breakfast was incredible! they go all out with all sorts of local specialties and lots of variety and super helpful providing info about the area. Parking was also super close and it's close to walk to everything.

Uma das melhores experiências que já tivemos. Ficamos na suite com vista para a cidade. Simplesmente incrível. Enorme, dentro de uma caverna, muito limpa, excelentes mobiliários e roupa de cama. Tudo perfeito. Você é recebido pelo dono que lhe explica tudo da cidade e lhe dar todas as dicas. Importante seguir a recomendação de deixar o carro num estacionamento fora da cidade com transfer incluso. Paguei 30 euros por dia. O local do café da manhã é mais pitoresco ainda, bem dentro da caverna. Adoramos tudo!!

Francesco was very helpful, he gave a lot of tips and told a lot about the Matera's history. Room was perfect, you are experiencing a beautifully decorated cave stay with comfort. The breakfast was also quite nice and the staff was very welcoming.

What a beautiful serene boutique hotel in Matera, This small bespoke cave hotel in the Sassi area of Matera was a wonderful find. Our room was so beautifully curated with stylish accessories. The bed was very comfortable the shower was powerful . The suite was equipped with a luxurious bath with high end products to enjoy. The breakfast was a good mix of breads, fruits yoghurts, cheese and sweet treats with delicious coffee which could be enjoyed indoors in a beautifully lit cave or outdoors enjoying the magnificent views over Matera. The staff were were both charming and helpful. This was definitely a highlight of our trip,
