SuB Villas Bali

The water was not running well. Everyday we took shower there was no water. Also the electricity up and down. The staff was not coming on time in the morning to clean up the utilities that we used from last night.

Good value villa for for 7pax.

The water runs really slow and weak. The heater goes on for the first 2 minutes or less and expect only cold water afterwards. The property is a little run down in some areas - for instance the water pressure and maintenance. Otherwise it’s kept fairly well. There’s no bathroom for the bedroom on the top floor.

There was renovation next to the villa.

The location was perfect walking distance to many great cafes, restaurants and short cab or bike ride to all that we wanted to see, the beaches, the religious sites

One of top location, there are many good restaurants and cafes around. Very easy access for both Canguu and Seminyak. Villa is very clean and neat.

The experience itself was very strange to one we’ve had before. From arrival, we had to speak to multiple different people via WhatsApp as there was no villa management around. Instead of taking the payment via booking.com as planned we had to organise payment to a company in Istanbul Turkey whilst also liaising with different Indonesian numbers on whatsapp back and forth which made the start of the trip stressful compared to something that should just be straightforward. During the stay we had then different people reach out on WhatsApp if we needed anything but we didn’t know whom some were. There was no person on standby like our previous villa.

The kind lady who did attend to us at times from next door had limited English. Privacy was limited on this trip as the man from next door whom seemed to have a connection with the villa but we don’t know his job role would just walk into our garden via the main door unannounced and walk around. At times he would just walk in through to the end of garden and walk back out and we didn’t know why. During times we may be sunbathing or late at night, this should not be allowed, we were uncomfortable. Towels were also only provided at the start of the trip and near the end of our stay whilst one room were not provided any towels at all. The shampoo / body wash bottles were also near empty from the start of the trip. During the rain as the bathrooms do not have a pull down cover from the outside it so does get very wet. I would never normally complain about an accommodation but it was a very strange experience from the start.
