Days Inn by Wyndham Cincinnati I-71

My room reeks of cigarette smoke.

There were vagrants hanging out in the parking lot. It was poorly lit and unsafe. The front desk person was very nice and said he would refund my money.

$20 policy to check in 1.5h early. WTF? Doesn’t seem safe (there is a sign inside the door saying “when inside lock yourself in using deadbolt”). There is timer/motion sensor on the main light in the room, so every morning I woke up the light is on, including at night. Super annoying!

Although I booked the room for four nights, I checked out after just one. There was hair in the sink leftover from someone's shave; there was thick dust/dirt on the shelves where the towels were stacked; the room had a stale cigarette smell to it (possibly from prior years of smoking); the toilet seat was broken; the only pant hanger was broken; and there was a dampness to the room that the air conditioning couldn't dry out.

While advertised as breakfast included, no such is offered or provided.

The sink was very nice, and I liked the pillows and cover. The vending machine wasn't working, but there was an ice machine, which is convenient. The soap and shampoo were also nice, aromatic with green tea

Entering the room, it smelled like smoke. If not from within the room, then from people smoking heavily outside the room. The bathtub was damaged and the drain stopper didn't work, so there was no bathing in the bathtub. The tub also had a convex drain grate, so no plugs could be used either

Older property. No refrigerator in room. AC unit was very difficult to adjust and wasn't working properly.
